AI training app · For trainers, clients and solo training

A trainer at your fingertips.

Ringside Trainer does everything a trainer does except coach. It writes advanced programs, organizes your calendar, sets a target for every set, and tracks your progress and body composition. Tell it what you want in plain words, and it does the work.

The Assistant

Say it. It’s done.

Type it or say it out loud. Ringside turns a sentence into the actual change: a new client, a full program, a moved session, a logged workout. Each request comes back with a checklist of exactly what it did.

Four corners

Your corner, covered.

Programming, organizing, tracking progress and measuring results take a trainer hours every week. Ringside handles all four and keeps them in sync, so a change in one shows up everywhere else.

Corner 1

Advanced programming

Full programs in phases, written from goals, training history and injuries.

  • Progressions and deloads built in
  • Rep ranges, % of max, time and distance
  • Edit one day or every future one
Corner 2

Organized for you

Pick training days once and the calendar fills itself for the whole program.

  • Drag a session to another day
  • Change days and the plan reflows
  • Preview and reorder any workout
Corner 3

Progression

A target on every set, built from the last time you did it.

  • Lift history and estimated maxes
  • Log by tap or by voice
  • Cardio by time, distance and pace
Corner 4

Body composition

Weight, body fat and lean mass over time, next to the training that changed them.

  • Trends, not just numbers
  • A consistency score
  • Habits, if you want them
In the workout

A number for every set.

No scrolling back through old logs mid-session. Each exercise opens with a target built from the last time it was done, and tapping ✓ on an empty set fills it in. Talk to log: “squats 235 for 7, 7, 6.”

Programs

Advanced programming that moves with you.

Real programs change. A client gets a new shoulder issue, a schedule shifts, the next phase needs heavier variations. Ringside makes those changes without rebuilding anything.

  • Phases with progressions. Weeks 1–4 build the base, week 5 moves to harder variations, deload weeks are planned in.
  • Edit once, choose the scope. Every edit asks: just this day, every future one, or the rest of this phase.
  • Preview before you start. Exercises, last numbers, today’s targets and estimated time. Drag to reorder.
  • Any exercise. A library of nearly 1,000 movements with demos, or type your own.

For trainers

Every client at a glance.

Open the app and the roster is already sorted. Clients who need a check-in sit at the top, with the reason next to their name.

  • A score per client. The last 14 days: 60% workouts done vs planned, 40% daily habits. Turn habits off and it counts workouts only.
  • Check-in flags. A score under 60, two or more missed sessions, or ten days without a workout.
  • Everything in one place. Each client’s lifts, body comp, habits and intake questionnaire live on their own page.
  • Invite codes. Clients join with a code and follow the program you assign.

A client’s lift data: 16 workouts and 208 thousand pounds lifted in four weeks, with a weekly volume chart
Schedule

The week, at a glance and by hand.

All of your clients’ sessions on one calendar, colored by person. Press and hold a session to drag it to another day. Change someone’s training days and the rest of their program reflows to match.

Why Ringside

Josh Ringering
Founder · Personal trainer, Dallas

“A trainer will never be replaced. The coaching and the motivation are ours. Everything else should run itself.”

Ringside Trainer is built by Josh Ringering, a personal trainer in Dallas. It started as the tool he wanted for his own clients and runs their training today. The name comes from the corner: a trainer is ringside for every round, and the app is there for everything in between.

The idea is simple. A trainer’s value is in the room: reading how a client moves, knowing when to push, keeping them coming back. The programming, scheduling and record-keeping around that should take minutes, not evenings.

Questions

Good to know.

When can I download it?

Ringside Trainer is in beta with real clients now and is headed to the App Store for iPhone and iPad. Trainers get access first.

Does the AI replace a trainer?

It does everything a trainer does except coach: writing programs, keeping the calendar, setting targets, and tracking progress and body composition. The cues, the form checks and the motivation in the room stay with the trainer.

Can I use it without a trainer?

Yes. Answer a few questions about your goals, history and schedule, and Ringside builds your program and adjusts it as you progress.

Can my clients use it on their own phones?

Yes. Each client gets an invite code. They see the program you assign, log their own workouts and see their progress, and you see everything they log.

Will it work with Apple Watch, WHOOP or Fitbit?

Connecting wearables is planned, so sleep, recovery, steps and workouts can come in automatically and inform the day’s training.

Is my data private?

Your training and health information is used to run the app for you and your trainer. It is never sold or used for advertising. The privacy policy has the details.

What will it cost?

Pricing will be announced at launch. Beta users will hear first.
